4. The aims of the project

Our first aim was to make the youngsters in our school and all other schools in Gaziantep aware of history by making researches, to study the architecture and the social life, religious beliefs, physical structure of Rumkale in history, to draw the attention of NGOs, governorship, municipalities to the historical and geographic situation there and to activate them for the preservation and introduction of the castle, to overcome the transportation problem, to make Rumkale a cultural centre to be visited by lots of tourist and to  make Rumkale lively again as it is used to be.
